In Hinduism, Avtar is referred to the physical appearance of God on the Earth. I am sharing 10 avatars of Lord Vishnu here:

2. Kurma
3. Varaha

8. Krishna

Yes true. This is called as Dashavatara, which means ten primary avatars of Lord Vishnu. But there are more avatars like Jagannath and Vithoba. I would also like to note here that the Kaiki has not yet appeared. It will appear at the end of Kali Yuga, which started at midnight of 17-18 February 3102 BCE when Lord Krishna left earth for Vaikuntha.
