Can i do puja during menstruation?

According to my point of view, it is very misfortune that people of Hindu religion menstruation as a curse for women. Even in four Vedas, it is not mentioned that women are impure at the time of their menstruation. So I think, Yes women can sit in the puja, enter the temple and even do puja but it also depends on her choice.
