Dadi Ratan Mohini, the centenarian spiritual leader and Brahma Kumaris' chief administrator, passed away on April 8, 2025. Her 100th birthday was celebrated on March 25.

Over her 88-year spiritual journey, she became one of the central pillars of the organisation, guiding it through key phases of expansion and social outreach.
Under her stewardship, the Brahma Kumaris the Brahma Kumaris launched campaigns focusing on women’s empowerment, youth development, de-addiction, environmental conservation, and yogic farming. Her relentless efforts earned her several national and international accolades, including an honorary doctorate from Gulbarga University in 2014.

Both the Indian prime minister Narendra Modi and president Draupadi Murmu paid heart-felt tributes to Dadi Ratan Mohini.

Dadi Ratan Mohini was the second chief of the Brahma Kumaris to reach the remarkable milestone of a century. The first, Dadi Janki (January 1, 1916 – March 27, 2020), also served as the organisation's chief.

In 1954, she represented the Brahma Kumaris at the World Peace Conference in Japan, and she later traveled across Asia, doing spiritual service in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
The Brahmakumaris is the world's only spiritual institution led, administered and taught by women with their own unique theological doctrine and seeks the empowerment of the feminine in all dimensions so as to bring about a more harmonious human society and world.

They have centers in almost every country in the world where they teach their 7 day courses comprising their spiritual philosophy and meditation free of charge.
