The Ramayana has seven Kandas consisting of about 24,000 verses and about 500 sargas. There are several versions of Ramayana including Buddhist, Sikh and Jain adaptations. There are versions of Thai, Lao, Burmese, Filipino, Indonesian, Cambodian and Malaysian too.
