Paap & Apradh are 2 different ways of committing sins.
Paap - Sins committed unknowingly, something ignorant which is against the teaching of Vedic Scripture is termed as Paap, person does something wrong but he has no idea if it is wrong or it is not, person doesn’t not know the teaching of Scriptures & commits sin are called as PURE PAAP & there are ways to wipe out such sins/paap by just chanting the holy name of Sri Ram/Krishna/Hari.
Apradh - Sins committed KNOWINGLY, few things like Meat eating, intoxication, illicit sex, robbery, etc. A person is aware of such sins mentioned in the scriptures, person is aware he would deserve hell by performing such sinful act but still he never gives up doing it & such a sins are termed as Apradh. It is easy to wipe our paap but cant wipe out our apradh. However a realised person if surrenders to the Supreme Almighty. Merciful God would definitely help him by giving the courage to bare the pain which he shall deserve in future, however the Apradah remains as it is, person has to deserve such bad deeds in future.
