We all know that Sri Rama had been exiled for the 14 years. His wife(Sita) and Brother(Laxman) also followed him and decided to go with him. Well, my question is that no one explains the significance of 14 years. Why he was exiled only for 14 years not less or more than that. From my point of view, there is some logic or message behind those 14 years. If anybody knows that then please share here.

I don't know why the figure 14 but it is true that we should learn from nature (prakriti) to become a good human being in society/community (sanskriti). Even the Pandavs were sent to forest. The lesson is that to become good in sanskrit we can't forget prakriti.

Probably not ruling for 14 years means the person cannot become king. This could have been a kingdom rule then.
