One of the most contentious subjects in the Indian academic world, ever since the introduction of British Empire, if not more, and especially after the introduction of the Leftist school of thought in the post-independent India, has been the Aryan invasion theory. Did there happen any such invasion in the pre-historic days ever? Did the Aryans come all the way from Europe, trounce a more advanced civilization and settle down here forever inheriting some of nonstarters’ cultural traits? Could this be possible ever? Even if the so-called efficacy of the same theory may amaze you a great deal, academic soldiers of Western and Leftist world are steadfast to go on with the same.
