Ugadi is the New Year's Day in Indian states which are Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Gudi Padwa is celebrated in Goa, Maharashtra, and Konkan as the new year day. Navreh in Kashmir, Cheiraoba in Manipur and Cheti Chand is celebrated by Sindhi as the new year day. Bestu Varas is celebrated around October or November time as the new year in Gujarat.
