Who founded Ramakrishna Math

Swami Vivekananda founded the Ramakrishna Math (a religious monastic order) in 1897. He was the chief disciple of Ramakrishna Paramahamsa (1836–1886), a saint of the 19th century and a priest in the Dakshineswar Kali Temple.

Currently the Ramakrishna Math has 182 centres across the world including 136 in India.
