Why hanuman jayanti is celebrated twice in a year?

Hanuman Jayanti is the birthday of Lord Hanuman and it is celebrated by Hindus. In India, people belong to North, East, and West India celebrate Hanuman Jayanti on the full moon of Chaitra month and South Indians celebrated at Hindu month of Margshirsha on Amavasya day.
