Aham brahmasmi means "I am God." Tatvamasi means "You are that" or "It's you."

Aham brahmasmi tatvamasi is a Sanskrit phrase and Brahman is the infinite reality.

True. But only if ego is taken out from you, you can become Aham brahmansi. The Upanishads write man has the capacity to improve one's present state and how to guide the future. Man has the power to know the truth and also to free oneself from the cycle of birth and death. This can only be done through Karma.

In Vaishnavism philosophy, the phrase Aham Brahmansi means "I am a drop of Ocean of Consciousness."

It is also described as, "I am soul, part of cosmic spirit, Parabrahma."

Aham brahmasmi in fact is one of the four Mahavakyas of the Upanishads. The Mahavakyas in the Hindu text explains unity of macrocosm and microcosm. The other three are:

Prajnanam Brahma
Ayam Atma Brahma
Tat Tvam Asi
