Parashurama was the guru of Karna in the Mahabharata, who was the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu. He was born as Bhumihar Brahmin.

Karna was the son of Surya and unmarried teenage Kunti, who later became Pandava queen. He sometimes was also called as Anga-Raja, Vasusena, Radheya and Sutaputra.

Karna was a good and loyal friend of Duryodhana, who appointed him as king of Anga.

He was the older half-brother of Arjuna.

Do you know that the earlier name of Kunti was Pritha. She was the daughter of Surasena, who was the king of Yadava dynasty.

Karna was born with earrings and armor breastplate. As a warrior he was equal to Arjuna. He was the flawed tragic hero of the era. Even though he was generous to Brahmins but arrogant against the Pandavas.
