In Hinduism, it is believed that the soul can never die, actually, it moves from one body to another body after death. Hinduism believe in rebirth after death and the new life after death will depend upon the karmas performed in the past life. If you did good karmas then will take better rebirth.

Yes, the Karma Theory is strongly believed in Buddhism and Jainism. Both the religions believe karma is the cause of all curses, actions and reactions in life and also life after rebirth.

You are right Nil, that is why we are always said that we should do good karma and should never hurt anybody intentionally or unintentionally.
