The foremost goal of ayurvedic treatment is to create a harmonious mental and physical balance. It is believed everyone has unique combination of three doshas - vata, pitta and kapha. These doshas are disbalanced due to poor diets, stress and so on. Precise type of such imbalances are first identified and thereafter medicines are prescribed. So it works.
