How many Muslim in West Bengal

The 2011 Census reveals more than 24.6 million Muslims live in West Bengal. It comprises about 27 percent of the total population in the state. The next Census is in 2021. In India the population is counted in every ten years.

The districts which have most Muslim population are Uttar Dinajpur, Malda and Murshidabad.

Murshidabad - 4,707,573 Muslim population, 66.28 percent of total district population.
Malda - 2,045,151 Muslim population, 51.27 percent of total district population.
Uttar Dinajpur - 1,501,170 Muslim population, 49.92 percent of total district population.
