How to become a prime minister of India

It is easy to understand but not easy to become. You need to win elections from your constituency in Lok Sabha polls and your party needs to be eligible in forming the government. If these two criteria is fulfilled, your party can propose your name to the President of India as fit for becoming prime minister of the country.

Sometimes when your party fails to win the threshold seats from constituencies, it can take supports from other parties. In such situation a party can bargain to propose name of a candidate from their to support forming government.
