The proper management of our diet, sleeping patterns and sexual practice are crucial to our well being.
  1. Food and digestion - the end result of proper digestion on all levels is Ojas, a subtle energy that protects the body and mind from disease;
  2. Sleep - proper rest is essential. Too little sleep upsets the VATA dosha while too much disturbs the KAPHA dosha; and
  3. Sexual energy: conservation and channeling of the sexual energy not in excess, but balanced, either towards a partner, or a passion in ones life.
