Aghoris, the most feared and most of various sects found in India. Aghori is derived from Sanskrit word Aghor which implies a natural statue of consciousness, but contrary to that Aghoris have rituals that are terrifying and disgusting to common people. But as per the Aghoris sect, Aghori is the one ‘who is fearless and who does not discriminate’. Aghoris practice rituals using human skull and animal sacrifices and are associated with cannibalism which is mostly related to Tantric rites of Sakta worshippers of Devi, also known by Kali, Durga, Chamunda.
It is believed that the Kamakhya Temple in Guwahati is the place where black magic is extremely practiced. It is also believed that the temple came into existence when Yoni from the corpse of Lord Shiva’s wife fell to the ground where the temple stands now. The Temple organizes Ambubachi mela every year in which many of the Aghori sadhus come to take the highly powerful Prasad which is considered as menstrual fluid from that Yoni.

They apply ash of pyre on their bodies and eat human flesh and meditate while sitting on dead corpse.
