Piles is a very irritating and painful disease. Kshara is a paste which is used to treat piles. It is applied to the affected area by using a device called Slit proctoscope. In Ayurveda, this method is the best approach to treat hemorrhoids. BTW, surgical is also the option but it is the last one in a serious case.
