Who is the husband of Tulsi Mata

Jalandhara was the husband of Tulsi Mata. He is also called chalantarana and was the Asura creation of Lord Shiva. He was the disciple of Shukracharya, who was the Guru of the Asuras.

In Hindu belief Tulsi is a sacred plant and great worshipper of Lord Vishnu. This is the reason leaves of the plant is offered in worshipping Vishnu.
