Swami Vivekananda was not killed. He died out of his own will. On 4th of July 1902 he went to his room for meditation in the Ramakrishna Math at 7 pm asking not to be disturbed. He died while meditating at 9.20 pm. Disciples say her attained mahasamadhi. His age then was 39.
