In Hindu marriage, one of the most important ceremonies is the Haldi ceremony. It is celebrated before two or three days of marriage. The family of both bride and groom make a paste of turmeric, curd, and other ingredients and apply onto the skin of the bride and groom. Turmeric has also got some antiseptic qualities and it is good for the skin. It provides glowing, fresh skin to bride and groom.
