Can I do Puja during menstruation?

According to the Hindu religion, you are not allowed to do puja during menstruation. You can't enter the temple, Puja Ghar, kitchen because of impurity of the body during menstruation. But if I am not wrong then the 4 Vedas of Hinduism did not mention the impurity of woman body during menstruation.

If you belong to the Hindu religion then you are not allowed to perform worship of any deity during the period of menstruation. You are also not allowed to visit any temple.

No, we can not eat salt not only in Shivratri fast but also in any fast. We are allowed to take milk, tea, water, fruits but anything with salt will break our fast.
