Why Cow is holy animal for Hindus? I have heard it is not only India where cow is worshiped but also in Nepal and Burma, Cow is treated as a holy animal. We have seen that Cow dung and cow urine used to clean up home in ancient time and still using in some places in today's India. Please share comments and your views here..

Cow is just an animal that offers too much to human beings. It gives milk to feed our children and from which we make curd, makkhan, sweets and many other products which are healthy and tasty to eat. The urine and gobar (cow dung) is useful in cleaning our homes and keeping bacteria away. This are the reasons we worship cow. Cow daan (donate) is the holiest in Hinduism as with it we are giving a person source of so many things.
