- Dharma - believing and following what is right in order to attain moksha (salvation) from this world.

- Rise up from bed before sunrise.
- Complete morning ablutions and bath.
- Pay homage to the family deity.
- Spend 10-15 minutes praying, meditating and reciting from the scriptures.
- Make breakfast and offer it to family deity first and than have breakfast.
- Every day execute the tasks related to your profession with complete dedication devotion honesty and sincerity for the earning of the family.
- In the evening perform group prayers in the family shrine along with all the members of the family.
- Supper and obeisance offered to the family deity before going to bed.
- Apart from our daily routine, an ideal Hindu is suggested to visit the nearest located Hindu temple once in a while to keep them-self attached to supreme.
- You should celebrate important Hindu festivals with with respect as they have some or other spiritual meaning, and go on pilgrimage to holy places as these places have certain degree of vibes attached to it.
- A Hindu is expected to give charity, help the needy, respect the elders in society and scrupulously pursue the path of moral rectitude in both personal and social life.
- Empathy, positive thinking for others, sympathy, love, non-violence should be part of life who is an ideal Hindu.
