Prajapati was the son of Brahma. Bhrama created Prajapatis to give birth to humanity. Actually, there are ten sons and one daughter of Brahma named Marichi Rishi, Atri Rishi, Angirasa Rishi, Pulaha Rishi, Pulutsya Rishi, Krathu Rishi, Vashistha, Prachethasa, Bhrigu, Narada Muni. His daughter name is Shatarupa. She was also called the female part of Brahma.
